Before applying PSARA License other registrations required PAN , TAN , GST , PF , ESIC, Shop Act , ITR of Directors
PASARA stands for Private Security Agencies Regulation Act, 2005. Any person who want to start Private Security Business in India need this license. Private Security agencies/companies are providing services of Security Guards and related services to an establishment. Indirectly these services are alternate to police services. In recent time business of Providing security services has been increased. In interest of Nation the Private Security Agencies Regulation Act, 2005 was introduced to monitor , administer and issue licenses to security Guard business.
This Act governs all operation of private security agency business in India. This Act is applicable to all over India other than Jammu & Kashmir. Under this Act each person want to start Security Guard Business need to obtain this registration. This License can be applied for any of jurisdiction of any District or Entire State.We provide PASARA License Registration services in Haryana.
Private Company, One Person Company, Individual Firm , Partnership Firm can apply for PASARA License Registration.
Security Services or related work need to be mentioned in company name. Company object need to be security services.
For Police Verification person should be a Resident Indian. Must have sound financials (Income Tax Returns required ).
MOU need to be entered between application of PASAR and training institute or an organization as approved by State. For ex-servicemen its exempt.
PSARA License cannot be granted to person if he is found to keeping Links with organisation or association,who are banned In India.
Section 6(2) of PSARA Act 2005, license shall be issued if company is not registered in India. Or Foreign investor have major shares.
Other Registrations
PSARA Act 2005 has given guidelines about who can be appointed as employee of Security Service Agency. Section 10 had prescribed 6 conditions to appoint employee under Private Security Services
Conditions
Agency who is providing services of Private Security services shall maintain record about his client and employees. Controlling Authority have authority to ask for such documents from private security agency, supervisor or private security guard to ensure due compliance of the Act.

Sign MOU Between Training Institute and PSARA Applicant. Its for traning for Guards and Supervisors.
In Form I application need to be filed for Police Verification. In case of company/ Firm same need to be filed separately for each person
After filing of application at Controlling authority of State, department will do verification. Total duration of working by department is appx. 60 days.
Validity of PSARA License issued under Private Security Guard under The Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005 is 5 Years in most of states.
No. This licenses are state specific. Hence Private Security agency cannot use one state license in Another state. For Example PASAR issued in Maharashtra cannot be used in Punjab.
No. This License is state Specific hence for each state procedure to apply is different. Procedure is different at each state Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Gujrat, Uttrakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Tripura, West Bengal.
Yes. Application who fulfilling the guidelines given under Act can apply for License. Hence its not mandatory to have Ex-service Men Or Army Men in Business.
The fees payable can be divided into the following categories: • For one district -- Rs. 5,000/- • For 2 to 5 districts in a state -- Rs. 10,000/- • For the entire state -- Rs. 25,000/
Following Persons are ineligible to apply for PSARA License. • Convicted of offence , fraud or undischarged insolvent • Where court ordered punishment of impressment of more than two years. • Person having linking with organisation or association which is banned under Law due to threat to national security or public • dismissed or removed from Government service
45 Days before expiry of License , application for Renewal of PSARA License should be made to Controlling Authority.
As Per Section 12 of PSARA 2005, Every private security agency shall exhibit its licence or copy thereof in a conspicuous place of its business.
